We are back again at Bayerebon No.5 and on our way to set up, we witnessed an innocent child playing in the sand and picking up a doughnut from the ground. With no care in the world, he went ahead and ate the doughnut.
Sad but true, this is common in most villages. Most children do not have access to healthy or sanitary conditions and are easily exposed to illness.
One of the key focus areas of the medical outreach is the children’s ministry. The children’s ministry’s main objective is to minister to the children during the day and also assist in registering the children for NHIS. Most of the children are also dewormed and treated for malaria.
