Bible Listening Groups

Romans 10:17 (NJKV): So, then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

After recording the Audio Bible, it is uploaded on a solar powered playback device and sent back to the communities to establish Bible Listening Groups.

A Bible Listening Group is formed when a group of people come together to listen to the Word of God in their mother tongue once or twice a week.

Teams from our Word for All department travel to rural communities to set up and establish Bible Listening Groups using the Audio Bible. Many people have come to know the Lord as a result of hearing the Word of God in their mother tongue.

The Bible Listening Groups are led by trained facilitators who lead and guide the group discussions. Group discussion and prayer, other than preaching is the format of these meetings.

The groups usually go through the New Testament for 2 years. With the help of our Field Coordinators, Volunteers and Bible Listening Group leaders, each group is monitored and evaluated through periodic assessments.

Theovision has also set up Bible Listening Groups in churches, schools, Information Centers, prisons and hospitals. We currently have over 3,000 active listening groups in Ghana.
