Most rural communities where we set up our BLGs are quite remote, underdeveloped, and lack basic amenities such as potable drinking water, healthcare and electricity, among others.
This common need gave birth to our Community Development and Healthcare program in 2008, premised on meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of community members to the glory of God.
Thus, working hand-in-hand with our partners, donors and friends, we support deprived communities with free medical screening and treatment each year. The program also includes registering women and children on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and supporting communities with portable drinking water, public places of convenience, learning materials, clothing and shoes for pupils and other hospitality services.
These interventions have contributed to opening the hearts of community members to the word of God and to discipleship through the Bible Listening program.
