The majority of Africa’s population are oral preference learners, meaning they prefer to communicate orally. In some cases, they do not know how to read or write.
Using cutting-edge, state-of-the-art digital equipment, our technicians travel to remote parts of Africa to record the Bible in the purest form in each indigenous language.
Through partnerships and Bible Listening Groups (BLGs), Theovision makes the word of God available and accessible to rural communities across Africa at no cost.
To the glory of God, Theovision with support from our partners have recorded the audio Bible in more than 500 languages across 36 African countries reaching over 700 million people. In Ghana, 43 local languages have been recorded.
The first Audio Bible was recorded in the Akuapem Twi language in 1982 in Ghana.
