The joy and relief that the people of Adankrono radiated during the inauguration of the modern public toilet facility built by Theovision International for the community was duly expressed by their Chief Osabarima Sarpong Kumankuma II in the words “we are really overjoyed” According to Osabarima, the people of Adankrono had had their fair share of unfulfilled promises from individuals and organizations and so were extremely delighted that for the first time in a long while an essential need had been met.
The project was undertaken in response to a request made by Osabarima who is a staunch member of the Bible listening program which was established in the village few years ago
In a speech Rev. Theodore Mensah Asare, the founder of Theovision International and a proud son of Adankrono expressed his gratitude to the staff and management of Theovision International for honoring him by providing the facility for his village. Rev. Asare urged the people to be faithful in their service to God since God made it possible for the project to see the light of day. In addition, his advised that residents take proper care of the place to ensure long-term use.
The dedication was preceded by a colorful durbar of the Chief, Council of Elders and people of Adankrono. It was a beautiful sight to behold the euphoria that the ceremony stimulated.
After years of making social interventions such as free medical health outreaches, the provision of potable water and the construction of decent toilet facilities in many other villages across Ghana, West Africa, where Bible listening groups have been established, Theovision International is glad to give to Adankrono, a village in the Eastern Region of Ghana and the hometown of the founder and President of Theovision International.
