PROPRIETRESS OF ICON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL COMMENDS THEOVISION

Children provide a fertile ground and a great receptacle for the Gospel. They are a great channel to take God’s light into the homes and hearts of many people in dark places. Theovision International, through its Bible listening program in schools is taking the Word of God to school children in a language they understand and a way they can best receive it.

Early this year, the management of Icon International School in Nmai Dzorn, Accra, opened her doors to Theovision International to start the Bible listening program there. Theovision provided free Audio Bible in English to the School and also trained some of their teachers to facilitate the listening sessions. In just a few months, this little effort has had great impact on the pupils.

The Proprietress of the school, Mrs. Elizabeth Owusu Begyiwah shared her excitement about the program with the Theovision team who attended the official launch of the Bible listening program.

She said, “this is the best gift we can ever have and so we will never let go of it. Though very small, it is bigger than the whole world because it is the Word of God. We will continue to use it so that these children can grow and become what God wants them to be.”

She also encouraged her colleague heads of schools to patronize the Bible listening program as it comes in a form that appeals to the pupils and help them to properly embrace the Word of God.

Each member of the Theovision team was amazed and joyful at how quickly the children have fallen in love with the Bible listening.

They paid rapt attention throughout as the Audio Bible played. The discussions that followed the listening was unbelievably exciting. The eagerness of each child to make a contribution was thrilling. When the headmistress saw the excitement on our (Theovision team) faces after the session she said “they don’t just listen, they hear and apply the Word. We have seen tremendous changes in their lives.”
